Have you ever known somebody that has given without any thought of getting anything in return? Someone who has given someone else a chance at life? I know these kinds of people and I admire them tremendously, but I'm a baby when it comes to pain so I have gone with the option of donating my organs for after I'm no longer with you all. I've read articles where different ones are needing bone marrow transplants and I know that I could be checked for compatibility but I haven't gotten up the nerve to do so yet. I know that these transplant operations are not cheap. The insurance runs out and then the individual has to wait to be able to receive insurance benefits again-if they make it that long. If you, or someone you know would like to help out, first consider becoming a donor. If you don't feel that you are able to do that, consider helping these people with your donation. A $2.00 donation from 250,000 different people could make a difference in a few peoples lives!

Welcome to America Fundraisers

America Fundraisers is a small fundraising group that is interested in raising funds to help American Children who are suffering from long term illnesses,. The group is made up of individuals that are using the skills they have learned over a life time to help others. The 2008 fundraising activity was two people riding two horses from Hagerman, ID to Richmond, VA. They started from Billingsley Creek State Park on May 1st and completed their ride at Pocahontas State Park on Oct. 7th. "Ride America 2008 Project"Our goal is to encourage all horse lovers, nature lovers, travelers, and families to help support the children in our country that spend the biggest percent of their lives visiting doctors and doctor offices. They seldom get the opportunity to appreciate the things that most of us take for granted.

WHO ARE WE?

We are a newly formed non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation devoted to American children. All of our monies stay within the United States. Thousands of our American children battle long term illnesses. We are dedicated to become a financial resource for these children and their families.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

We use our horses in fundraising activities to benefit American families. The activities for 2009 include but are not limited to horse shows, horseback poker runs, horsemanship clinics, and trail rides.

WHEN ARE WE DOING THIS PROJECT?

The first project is a free horsemanship clinic being offered to high school/college level students at Billingsley Creek Arena in Hagerman, ID. The clinic is a 1 hour clinic for seven days and limited to 30 students.
There is an open horse show being planned for Feb 21st
May 23rd, a horse back poker run during "Fossil Days"
A trail ride is tentatively scheduled for July 25th

WHERE ARE WE DOING THIS PROJECT?

The projects will be scheduled for different locations within the United States. Persons wanting to do a horseback fundraiser for America Fundraisers can contact us for literature about organ transplants and forms for horse shows, games, clinics.
